970 330 5829 The Greeley Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Dan Frantz, will present its third concert of their 35th season on February 5, 2016 concert featuring Natalie Hill, Violin. This "Classics of All Time" concert will feature two of the most magnificent works of music ever written: Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Beethoven's Fifth Symphony! Ms. Hill has chosen to perform all of the Violin Concertos of the set by Vivaldi composed to describe each of the Four Seasons. The Greeley Chamber Orchestra is honored to welcome back Natalie Hill. Natalie was the first concertmistress of the GCO in its inaugural season in 1981, and was instrumental in building and designing the orchestra at its inception. Natalie (Schmitz) Hill plays regularly with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, the Colorado Ballet Orchestra, the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra, the Mercury Ensemble String Quartet and the Voice of the Wood Chamber Players. She has played in the Grand Teton Music Festival as well as the Peter Britt Festival in Oregon. Natalie has served as Concertmaster for the Greeley Chamber Orchestra, the Mercury Ensemble Chamber Orchestra and the Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra. The final half of the concert will feature the Greeley Chamber Orchestra performing Beethoven's 5th Symphony in C minor. Beethoven's fifth symphony is one of the most recognizable pieces of all of classical music and has been has often been called the ultimate work of the classical period.Date and Time
