The East Colorado SBDC and Greeley Chamber of Commerce are excited to host Denny McCorkle, Professor of Marketing at UNC. Mr. McCorkle will talk about using All-In LinkedIn strategies to manage your online presence for maximum offline benefit. You’ll discover how to:
1. Optimize your LinkedIn profile for maximum visibility so important others can find and learn more about you and your professional qualifications;
2. Make and manage targeted connections for building your professional relationships and business or career opportunities;
3. Develop and grow a personal learning network to feed your passion, support social sharing, and motivate lifelong learning;
4. Use social sharing activity to amplify and showcase your continued learning, professional interests, authority, and growing expertise;
5. Engage in social conversations to humanize your personal brand, and win remembrance and influence by your connections; and
6. Practice social selling strategies to strengthen the local connection between your social media networking and physical networking.
LinkedIn: How to Build Relevance is presented by Denny McCorkle, Professor of Marketing at UNC. Mr. McCorkle has instructed undergraduate courses in digital and social media marketing at UNC and in Europe. He regularly presents about digital citizenship and to marketing academics and professionals about the strategic use of social media for personal branding, job search, and career advancement.
