Dan Frantz 970 330 5829 The Greeley Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Dan Frantz, presents the 1st concert of its 36th season on September 30, 2016 with a concert featuring Ching-Hsuan (Sherry) Wang, violin. Ms. Wang performs Haydn’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in C Major. Ms. Wang, born in Taiwan and graduated from Greeley Central High School, performed on the east coast and in China before returning to the University of Northern Colorado’s School of Music to pursue her doctorate degree in Violin Performance. The concert opens with Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 in F Major followed by Ms. Wang’s performance. The 2nd half opens with Albinoni’s Adagio for Organ and Strings featuring Sheryl McBride performing on the Trinity Episcopal Church organ. The concert concludes with Mozart’s delightful “Paris” Symphony No. 31 in D Major.Date and Time
