Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC is pleased to announce that G. Brent Coan, Brett Payton, Michael C. Payne, and Andrew S. Klatskin have been selected to the 2026 Colorado Super Lawyers list and Matthew L. Each year, the Super Lawyers research team selects no more than five percent of lawyers in the state to receive a Super Lawyers honor and no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state receive the Rising Stars honor.

Brent Coan’s (tenth year recognized) practice focuses on corporate and real estate related matters including purchase and sale transactions, business organization and capitalization, corporate M&A transactions, land planning and development, and commercial loan transactions. Brett Payton (seventh consecutive year recognized) leads the firm’s litigation practice group and focuses his practice on all areas of real estate, business, and banking litigation. Michael C. Payne’s (seventh consecutive year recognized) practice focuses on representing financial institutions, private lenders, businesses, and individuals in complex commercial real estate and financing transactions. Andrew S. Klatskin’s (twenty-first consecutive year recognized) practice focuses on real estate and commercial transactions, real estate development, real estate leasing, common interest community development, and golf course and hospitality-based developments.
 
Three attorneys also earned recognition on the Rising Stars list. Matthew L. Chudacoff’s (third consecutive year recognized as a Rising Star) practice focuses on litigation and appeals, with an emphasis on resolving business, commercial, real estate, construction, natural resources, and employment disputes in state and federal courts and administrative tribunals. Amanda T.
